Meet Recap

In a repeat of the first match between the two schools, Cathedral defeated #12 Hamilton Southeastern 4 – 1 in the Regional finals on Wednesday.
The 3 singles players: Maeve Koscielski, Meg Coleman and Claire Koscielski continued their outstanding play and all 3 won in straight sets.
For possibly the first time all year, a doubles team featuring Cassie Kronenberger won relatively quickly as she and her partner Belle Montefalco won a competitive first set and then pulled away to quickly close out the match.
The #1 doubles team of KK Combs and Cole Spau played against a veteran team and kept it close the entire match but were unable to win enough critical points at the end of the sets.

Up next for the Lady Irish is a semi-state match at Homestead High-school on Saturday at 10AM. The opponent will be the winner of Concord vs. Central Noble
