Girls Cross Country – Season Wrap Up

Boys XC Team and Cridge Advance to State

Congratulations to the Irish Boys XC team, and to Gillian Cridge as an individual runner, for advancing to the State Cross Country Championships at the LaVern Gibson Course in Terre Haute on Saturday. The Fighting Irish Girls Cross Country team finished in 6th place at the Noblesville Regional on Saturday.  The girls just missed finishing in the top 5 and qualifying for Semi-State as a team. Another Big Week at Cathedral

Big events abound for the Irish this week. The Volleyball team opens sectional play vs. Tech at Lawrence North on Thursday at 6:00.  The semi-finals are Saturday at 10:00.  The Championship is Saturday at 7:00. Girls finish 2nd at XC Sectional

The Fighting Irish Girls Cross Country team finished 2nd at the Brebeuf Sectional on Saturday with 54 points. The Irish finishers were:  Gillian Cridge 6th, Audrey McKinney 8th, Gracie Carr 11th, Sofia Alatorre 12th, Erin Arney 17th, Ellie Thor 18th, and Megan Kaster 35th. GO IRISH!

Tomorrow is Championship Saturday for the Irish!  Your opportunity to watch excellence in action. The boys and girls cross country teams are competing for sectional championships at Brebeuf.  The boys run at 10:30.  The girls run at 11:15.  Both teams have had great seasons. Girls Run Away With City Title

The Irish Girls Cross Country team won the Indianapolis City Championship at Graham Martin park on Saturday.  The Irish bested 2nd place Ritter 27 to 46. Gillian Cridge finished 2nd, Gracie Carr 3rd, Audrey McKinney 4th, Sofia Alatorre 7th, and Megan Kaster 11th. Irish Girls 4th at Flashrock

The Fighting Irish Girls Cross Country team finished 4th at the Flashrock Invite at Northview Church in Carmel.  The Irish finished with 122 points. Audrey McKinney finished 13th, Gracie Carr 15th, Gillian Cridge 16th, Erin Arney 37th, and Sofia Alatorre 41st. Great job Irish!
