Irish Dominate Field to Claim City Crown

September 27, 2017.  The Irish Men’s soccer team claimed its first City Championship since 2012 on September 27, 2017.  The Irish put on a thoroughly dominating performance en route to the title, outscoring opponents in the four matches by a combined total of 17-1.  The Irish began the tournament with a 3-0 win against visiting

A Big Irish Saturday

Tomorrow is Championship Saturday for the Irish!  Your opportunity to watch excellence in action. The boys and girls cross country teams are competing for sectional championships at Brebeuf.  The boys run at 10:30.  The girls run at 11:15.  Both teams have had great seasons. Boys Sectional Soccer Begins Monday

The Fighting Irish Boys Soccer team, under the tutelage of Whitey Kapsalis, will begin the IHSAA tournament on Monday at Tech.  City Champion Cathedral plays Warren Central at 7:30. Boys and Girls Are City Soccer Champs

Congratulations to the Fighting Irish Soccer programs as both the girls and boys won the Indianapolis City Championships at Bishop Chatard High School. The girls defeated the host Trojans in a great contest.  The Irish needed a goal with 7 seconds left in regulation to tie the game at 2 and send it to overtime.
