Good luck to Austin Vukovits at the USGA Amatuer. The 70th USGA Junior Amateur Championship is taking place at Flint Hills National Golf Club in Andover, Kansas.  3774 players attempted to qualify and 156 players will participate in this national championship.  Play starts with two days of 18 hole stroke play Monday and Tuesday, before the field is paired

Boys Golf Advances to State Championship

The Fighting Irish linksters played well at the Players Club in Yorktown to advance out of the Regional to the IHSAA State Finals.  Congratulations Coach Pat Fagan and the members of the Cathedral golf team. Irish Golf Place Three in Top 10

The Cathedral Boys Golf team placed three players in the top 5 at the Angola Invite on Friday.  Austin Vukovits took first place in a playoff with teammate Danny Paris.  The third member of the Irish to medal in the event was Luke Mattingly.  The boys play three times this week with matches at Lawrence

Linksters Claim City Championship

Congratulations to the Irish Golf team for winning the Indianapolis City Championship at Riverside Golf Course.  The Irish bested 2nd place Bishop Chatard 287-302. Danny Paris and Austin Vukovits each shot a 70 for the Irish.  Luke Mattingly had a 72, David Cooke a 75, and Jimmy Grund an 80. GO IRISH!
